The non-selected Irish 23 – Not going to the World Cup | Huge Rugby News

Joe Schmidt announced his 31-man squad for the upcoming Rugby World Cup and there were a few big-name ommissions.

Yesterday’s announcement had a few main talking points, mainly the omissions of usual starter Devin Toner and Schmidt favourites Kieran Marmion and Will Addison.

Looking at the names who missed out and those not even considered, we’ve pulled together a 23-man squad that could give many of the World Cup teams a run for their money in Japan.
