England’s centre Manu Tuilagi could potentially be in a spot of bother. The English centre who was starting his first 6 Nations game in 6 years smashed Ireland winger Jacob Stockdale with a no arms clean out during his side’s 32-20 victory over Ireland at Lansdowne Road on Saturday.

While England were clearly the better the side, many Irish fans have been wondering how and why this went unnoticed.

A bit naughty from Tuilagi on Stockdale.#IREvENG pic.twitter.com/Jf8Ih1E6zO

That’s more than a bit naughty. That’s a 4-week ban.

@brianmoore666 @ScottQuinnell @Nigelrefowens will Mr Tuilagi be receiving a letter from “Mr C. I. Ting” on Monday?

This wasn’t the only incident that got Irish fans up in arms. Many feel Maro Itoje was lucky to escape with only a penalty after his arial ‘collision’ with Keith Earls.

Itoje never had his eyes on the ball, only on Earls, stuck his knee up and jumped with momentum.. At least a yellow #IREvENG

A lot of questionable hits yesterday, Itoje was lucky not to get carded for his hit on Earls

— Stephen O’Hanrahan (@ohanrahan1995) February 3, 2025

Itoje deserved a yellow there. But you’d have to say, if he was on your team you’d be delighted with him nailing Earls ?
