Injury update ahead of Exeter Chiefs – Huge Rugby News

Ahead of the weekend’s match against Exeter Chiefs, Bath Rugby Head of Medical Services Rory Murray has provided a squad injury update.


Alfie Barbeary
The club is continuing to work with Alfie to rehabilitate his hamstring. He will return later this season.

Jaco Coetzee
Jaco is coming to the end of his ankle rehabilitation. He will return in January.

Chris Cloete
Chris is on course to return at the end of this month from his broken foot.

Tom Doughty
Tom injured his eye against Toulon. He will see a specialist this week.

Charlie Ewels
Charlie is making positive progress with his shoulder and knee injuries.

Gabriel Hamer-Webb
Gabriel is on track for a return at the end of January following his ankle injury sustained against Newcastle Falcons in November.

Jonathan Joseph
Jonathan injured his ankle against the Barbarians. He will return in mid-January.

Josh McNally
Josh continues to strengthen his shoulder following surgery. He is on course for a return at the end of January.

Will Muir
Will continues to rehabilitate his knee. He remains unavailable this season.

Beno Obano
Beno is making positive progress from his knee injury. He is aiming for a return at the end of January.

Ewan Richards
Ewan sustained an injury in training. He will be sidelined for eight weeks.

Quinn Roux
Quinn will return from his knee injury at the end of January.

Will Stuart
Will continues to rehabilitate on his elbow.

GJ van Velze
GJ’s return from his dislocated shoulder will be in February.

Mike Williams
Mike has returned to running and will be available towards the end of January.
