Exciting young second row Harvey Cuckson has committed to Bath Rugby.

The 18-year-old has joined the Blue, Black and White’s Academy having previously been in the Worcester Warriors pathway.

A highly regarded youth international, he earned England Under-18s honours in friendlies against France and Wales earlier this year before being called up to the U18 Six Nations Festival in the summer.

In the tournament, Cuckson started twice and scored once as England made it three wins from three. He impressed throughout the 2021/22 Academy League campaign and his performances saw him rewarded with a place on the bench in the Premiership Rugby Cup against Bath last term.

Cuckson was named in NextGen XV’s World Under-18 XV for 2022, alongside new teammates Louie Hennessey and Murdoch Lock.

“Harvey is an exciting prospect with a fantastic attitude,” Head of Academy Craig Lilley said.

“He has a great desire to develop his game and he’s someone we’re very much looking forward to help develop over the years to come.”
