Sale Sharks can today confirm that fly-half AJ MacGinty will leave the club at the end of the current season after more than five years at the club.
The 31-year-old USA international has signed a long-term deal with Gallagher Premiership side Bristol Bears.
AJ joined Sharks from Connacht at the end of the 2015/16 season and has since played almost 100 times for the club, scoring eight tries among more than 800 points.
He played a key role last season as the club finished third in the Gallagher Premiership and reached the play-offs for the first time in 15 years.
Everyone at Sale Sharks would like to thank AJ for his huge contribution to the club over the past five years and we wish him all the very best for the future.
