Bath Rugby issue Injury update – Huge Rugby News

Ahead of Round 1 of the Gallagher Premiership, Bath Rugby Head of Medical Services Rory Murray has provided a squad injury update.


Tom Ellis

Tom is in full training and is building up his tolerance ahead of a return to action.

Johannes Jonker

Johannes came through the Jersey Reds match unscathed and is back in full training. He is available for selection.

Jonathan Joseph

Jonathan was a precautionary withdrawal from the warm-up against Jersey Reds last Friday due to a minor knee issue. He will be monitored ahead of the trip to Bristol Bears.

Ruaridh McConnochie

Ruaridh came through the Jersey Reds match unscathed and is back in full training. He is available for selection.

Will Muir

Will has returned to full training following a pectoral injury. He is available for selection.

Miles Reid

Miles has made excellent progress over the past few weeks. He will step up his training load this week but will not be available for selection against Bristol Bears.

Quinn Roux

Quinn suffered a concussion injury in training and will be monitored ahead of the trip to Bristol Bears.

Juan Schoeman

Juan has made excellent progress in recent weeks and will be available for selection against Bristol Bears.

Max Wright

Max’s operation following his return from Newcastle Falcons was successful. He will now progressively be reintroduced to training with an aim at returning in the Premiership Rugby Cup at the end of September.
