DHL Stormers v ASM Clermont Auvergne: All you need to know
The DHL Stormers will be aiming to book a spot in the Heineken Champions Cup play-offs when they face French side ASM Clermont Auvergne at DHL Stadium on Saturday.
The final pool match of the tournament kicks off at 19h30 on Saturday at DHL Stadium, with gates opening at 17h30.
The DHL Stormers need just one log point to qualify for the Round of 16, but a win against the French outfit will secure home advantage.
ASM Clermont Auvergne are still in the play-off race as well and will be looking to make it two wins against the DHL Stormers, having claimed a 24-14 win at the Stade Marcel Michelin in December.

Get there early
Gates at DHL Stadium open at 17h30, with kick-off against the ASM Clermont Auvergne at 19h30. The beer garden in the stadium will be open both before and after the game with a Red Bull DJ playing live, so get there early to make sure you don’t miss any of the action.
Heavy traffic congestion is expected, so all those attending the match are encouraged to get there early and make use of the free MyCiTi shuttle services available from the Civic Centre and Thibault stations.
Parking in the area will be at a premium and there will be strict enforcement on illegally parked vehicles.
Road closures
Fritz Sonnenberg Road, Vlei Road, Stephan Way and Fort Wynyard Street will all be closed from 15h00 until 23h00, with restrictions only on Helen Suzman Boulevard, Somerset Road, Main Road and Granger Bay Boulevard.
Parking
There is dedicated stadium rugby parking available at the P2 (CLICK HERE to book) P4 and P9 (R100 cash on entry) stadium parking areas.
DHL Stadium is in a residential precinct, so please respect the residents and co-operate with the traffic officials on duty. Please note that vehicles that are illegally parked will be fined and/or towed away.
Ticket holders with disabilities must formally request access to the parking bays dedicated in P5 for people with disabilities, by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. These parking bays are limited and available on a first-come first-served basis.
Free MyCiTi shuttles
There are free MyCiTi shuttle services between the Stadium and both the Civic Centre Bus Station and Thibault Square bus station, which will be available free for all those with a match ticket.
The first bus from the Civic Centre bus station in Hertzog Boulevard leaves at 17h00. Thereafter a bus leaves every 15 minutes or when full. The last return bus leaves the Stadium bus station at 22h30.
Use public transport to the Civic Centre bus station and either catch the free event shuttle to the Stadium or use the Fan Walk.
E-Hailing
It is recommended that those using e-hailing are dropped off and collected in the CBD at DF Malan Drive opposite the Artscape Theatre, Hertzog Boulevard or Jan Smuts Street and then use the MyCiTi shuttle which is free to all event ticket holders from the Civic Centre Station or Thibault Square Station, or alternatively use the Fan Walk.
There is an e-hailing drop-off area in Helen Suzman Boulevard between Vlei Road and Beach Road on both sides, but spectators are warned that drop-and-go and pick-up around the stadium will have very long delays due to traffic congestion.

Tickets are available to purchase at ticketpros.co.za (CLICK HERE to buy your ticket now) Only tickets purchased via Ticketpro are valid.
Please print your match ticket clearly and also bring a digital version on your phone and have both ready to scan in as easily as possible at the gates. There are no covid certificate or ID requirements to enter the stadium.
Stadium seating
The South Stand is the party stand. The North Stand is the family stand and blocks 108 and 109 are alcohol free.
Other information
Spectators are urged to be aware of the threat of car jamming in parking areas and pickpockets and keep your valuable close to you at all times.
Please note that no spectator is allowed access to the pitch. Any person invading the pitch can be prosecuted as this is a criminal offence.

Jean Kleyn will be unavailable until the New Year due to an eye injury suffered in the Leinster match. He attended for a specialist review last Tuesday and Wednesday and will have further follow-up before Christmas.
Jack Daly (ankle) and Liam Coombes (shoulder) both underwent surgery last week and will begin rehabilitation under the medical department.
There is good news for Patrick Campbell (ankle) as he has returned to team training.
Jack O’Donoghue (ankle) will also return to training this week.
Simon Zebo (knee) will continue to rehabilitate early this week.
The availability of Campbell, O’Donoghue and Zebo will be determined later in the week.
Peter O’Mahony (shoulder) is improving but will remain unavailable for the Bayonne clash.

In Division 1A, Fionn Gibbons, Chris Moore and Keynan Knox helped Young Munster to a win over City of Armagh with Gibbons among the tries.
Ethan Coughlan and Daniel Okeke were in action for Shannon as they were beaten away to Terenure College.
In Division 1B, Jack Oliver, George Hadden and Colm Hogan helped Garryowen beat Blackrock College with Hogan scoring a try on his debut for the club. Oliver also kicked three conversions and two penalties.
Jack O’Sullivan and Ben O’Connor featured for UCC as they were narrowly beaten by Old Wesley.
In Evan O’Connell helped UL Bohemians to a draw against MU Barnhall.

Munster Rugby can confirm that Peter O’Mahony has made the decision to step down as squad captain after over 10 years leading the province.
O’Mahony first captained Munster in a competitive game on September 3, 2011 at the age of 21. It was just his 12th appearance for the province and he led the side for the opening five games of that season.
He took over the Munster captaincy on a permanent basis ahead of the 2013/14 season following the departure of Doug Howlett.
The 2022/23 season was O’Mahony’s 10th year as squad captain and ended with glory in Cape Town as he lifted the URC title with Keith Earls after a thrilling win over the Stormers.
Along with captaining Munster, he has also led Ireland and the British & Irish Lions.
Head Coach Graham Rowntree and the coaching team will select a new squad captain in due course.
Peter O’Mahony said: “Captaining Munster has been a dream come true for me.
“I grew up watching and idolising the Munster team and in particular the people who were leading the team.
“People like Mick Galwey, Jim Williams then on to the likes of ROG and Paul, who I had the privilege of playing with at the start of my career.
“I can remember the day I was asked to be captain like it was yesterday and discussing it with Paul to get his approval.
“From that day to this it’s been an utter privilege and has never been something I’ve taken for granted.
“However, having given a huge amount of thought to it, I think it is the right time to step back from the role to share my experiences and give the same guidance that I received when I took on the role.
“What an unbelievable honour it has been…and will always continue to be.”
Paying tribute to O’Mahony’s over 10 years as captain, Rowntree said: “You couldn’t pick a better leader than Pete and he has been a fantastic captain for this club.
“To lead Munster from such a young age and for so many years speaks volumes of his ability as a player on the pitch and a person off it.
“He commands huge respect and will still be a massive leader within the group. To have someone of Pete’s experience on hand to help us with the succession process is invaluable.
“We have a strong leadership group within the squad and will confirm a new squad captain in due course.”

In Division 1B, Evan O’Connell helped UL Bohemian to a 16-12 victory over Ballymena at Annacotty.
