All you need to know: Connacht v Scarlets – Huge Rugby News

Its round 6 of the BKT United Rugby Championship as Connacht welcome Scarlets to  The Sportsground this Friday. 

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of Friday’s game.

When’s the game?

Kick-off at The Sportsground is at 7.35pm on Friday 21st October.

What’s the state of play so far?

Connacht come into the game having played back-to-back Interprovincial derby’s at home. A 20-11 win over Munster followed by a 10-0 defeat to Leinster.

Scarlets go their first win of the season when they beat Zebre 36-12 at home. In their opening five games they have won 1, drawn 1 and lost 3.

How’s our recent record against them?

Our recent record against the Scarlets in the URC over the last five games have been as follows,

  • Sca 23-29 Con
  • Sca 41-36 Con
  • Con 14-20 Sca
  • Sca 18-10 Con
  • Con 33-20 Sca

How will the two teams line up?

The Connacht management team will announce their squad at 12pm on Thursday when it will be named on connachtrugby.ie and the Connacht Rugby social channels.

TG4 and Premier Sports will have live TV coverage while Galway Bay FM have live radio commentary.
