The Argentine international who has 33 caps and 11 international tries to his name has been a huge hit at Exeter Chiefs with his trademark electric footwork and game-breaking ability since joining in January 2018.

His stint with the Premiership side is going to be shorter than many Chiefs fans would have liked with French Side Bordeaux Begles announcing the Full-Back / Winger has signed on a 2 year deal.

Exeter fans would have been keen for the speedstar to remain however with Stuart Hogg due to join for next season, they won’t be shy of quality operators in the back three.

Bordeaux confirmed the singing via Twitter.

Bordeaux also recently announced that former Maori All Black backrower Luke Braid has left the club 6 months before his contract was up for personal reasons.

Braid, World Rugby’s Junior player of the year in 2008 captainined the New Zealand U20 side that won the Junior World Championship that year, joined Bordeaux-Begles in 2015.

The former Auckland Blues player, 30, starred during his first 2 seasons in France before a nagging foot injury saw him play only two games last season.

Since August, Braid has started just five games, two in the Top 14 and three in the European Challenge Cup.
