Ruaridh McConnochie will make his first Gallagher Premiership start of the season when Bath Rugby take on Saracens in Round 6.

The wing comes in as one of four changes to the side that started the West Country derby against Gloucester last time out.

Josh Bayliss and Richard de Carpentier return to the back row and Orlando Bailey replaces the injured Piers Francis. His quad injury will keep him sidelined for a month.

The front five remains the same for the match in the capital. Tom Dunn continues as captain from hooker with Juan Schoeman and Will Stuart packing down at loosehead and tighthead respectively.

Dave Attwood and Quinn Roux combine in the second row while Miles Reid is at openside flanker.

The backline has a lot of familiarity from last weekend as Louis Schreuder starts at scrum-half and new signing Ollie Lawrence is named outside Cameron Redpath in the midfield. Wing Joe Cokanasiga and full-back Matt Gallagher complete the XV.

On the bench, Academy duo Tom Carr-Smith and George Worboys are in line for their Premiership debuts. The former has taken Max Green’s place in the 23 with the 26-year-old’s ankle injury making him unavailable this week.

After arriving from Worcester, Fergus Lee-Warner could earn his first outing in Blue, Black and White.
